Decker Penalized for saluting the troops

Even though he saluted on one knee and with the wrong hand, his heart was in the right place and shouldn't be penalized for this. The NFL needs to let this one slide.

I appreciate the gesture, but if this penalty prevents dickweeds from calling mom on their cell or dancing some iggy shuffle nonsense in the end zone, then I stand behind it.

I totally agree with keeping a professional standard, but I think on Veteran's Day, some exception ought to be made for "reasonable" gestures of respect to those celebrated on that day.

I think Captnmo is right. This just shows the direction, that the 70% of the population of this country which needs to be vaporized, is continuing to head.
