This will be for my daughters ( 6th grade) first rifle.

I’ll check the rule book but in 100% certain she is not allowed to have a better rifle than dad.

Wrong. The easiest way to get a new build past "mom" is to say it is for 'Junior(ette)'. Go wild...

Last I saw it was a 36 week wait.

It might not take that long. I ordered a Deviant action 8-04-21 and they told me 36 weeks. I received the action 10-19-21.

Perhaps its because they sell their incoming stock before it ever gets delivered and listed. Call them and they will tell you what they have coming in and perhaps out being nitrided. That's how I got a Deviant from them a few months ago.

In my opinion, for what they are, they are on sale at the “normal” price. Can you get more by paying more, yes but these are great actions at a fair price.
