Excellent idea AOC. Log jam mail delivery with essentially junk mail so mail in ballots can’t get through. And while your at it. Have everyone go buy a lifetime supply of “forever stamps” which are guaranteed to cover postage. So in effect, the post office will always be charging the current price to mail letter for the life of the post office.
From what I understand from talking to my postman almost daily back in 2012(he was allowed to eat lunch at the HOA pool across from my house and we BS'd all the time), he claimed that the USPS is the only federal entity that is REQUIRED to pre-fund their pension obligations. That year the big news headline was the USPS was going to be "short" 5 billion. He told me "guess what our pension liabilities are"... 5 billion... He said he didnt disagree with the pre-funding, but that they werent on a level playing field with the rest of the federal government agencies.
