Desert tech covert 308 most accurate Factory ammo

Just bought a desert tech srsa1 covert with the 308 16 inch barrel.

was just wondering what were your most accurate factory ammunition with it and handloads as well.

No such thing as a most accurate factory load. It can shoot really well in your gun but shitty in mine, etc. You should try some FGMM though...

FGM is my baseline, in my experience Factory precision rifles with the same barrel will shoot in a similar way.

Well, DT *does* sell their own line of ammo; that might be a good place to start.

I had a factory A1 16” 1:8 .308 barrel that I got rid of.....wish I still had it.
it loved federal 175 smk gmm Put them into 1 ragged hole at 100. Shot a deer in the neck at 475 and steel out to 800 with no problem with it.
