5 three shot groups.
260 rem in a Savage LRP
1-42.2gr
2-42.4
3-42.6
4-42.8
5-43.0

It's my first OCW and I don't see much. I shot in round robin fashion.

You only have a .8 grain spread between min and max. Most of these threads I've seen show several grains of spread between min/max loads. Unless you already know you should be in this range with this bullet/brass/powder combination, you might want to try some more loads.
That being said, 42.2 seems the best out of these.

also, some more specifics on your load might help those more knowledgeable then me. bullet/powder/brass/primer

the best way to get a good analysis is to put all of the groups on one page, so that they can be viewed and considered as a whole, rather than having to scroll from one to another.

as was mentioned, your graduations are too small, at .2 grains. You probably have a good node right in the middle of your test, and that's quite possibly why you're not seeing a lot of variance in POI.

Thanks for the replies. Here's the whole target. I only used the small range because I know that 43.1 is on the edge of where I want to abuse my brass and that I didn't expect to get velocities that I would find acceptable below 42.2.

From what I understand . . . and assuming all groups used the same POA . . . and assuming the targets were used in ascending order . . . the first 3 groups have a highly similar POI. The fourth looks like it is opening up especially when considering the 5th group.

So, your second target used a load that seems comfortably within a forgiving, similar POI range.

I'd have to go with the same suggestions as those above. The 42.4 load used on target #2 seems to be near the center of an accuracy node. Targets #4 and #5 seem to be heading towards a scatter node. My money would be on 42.3 or 42.4 grains.

I really don't think you can go wrong with either! That said, you haven't left yourself any room for tightening groups by messing with the OAL! :) Good shooting.
