Another electronic level on the market ,this one is an Italian design , combines the level unit with an ocular led indicator while also being half the price of MDT let alone MDT with Brandt built ocular optic fiber unit.

DIGITAL LED LEVEL V2.0-MLR RESEARCH CENTER

Levels has 3 LEDs, red, blue and green, if you have the weapon platform inclined more than 0.6° to the right or left, the corresponding LED lights up.
you can mount horizontally or vertically, just set the "zero" with the switch.
you can shift from right handed to left handed just holding the reset button for approximately 2 seconds.
The battery lasts about 14/15 hours and you charge it with a USB C in about 20/25 minutes.
housing is produced in UV-resistant black painted 3D printing.

Italian retail prices include 22% tax so if you ask the manufacturer directly it will be closer to 150Eur + Shipping for US customer , being a small shop he is also willing to brand them for companies

Now there are at least 3 (Shooters Global, MLR ,Kiliner) electronic levels built by small companies in Europe that are in similar price brackets. just illustrates how overpriced Send it level is.Especially for customers in Europe where MDT is pushing cca 300$ and with BB combo you are pushing well north of 400$

Would need to ask Alex i know he outsources these.

Maybe you remember when we talked parts for PRS stock inserts and mag releases on IWA , the electronic levels were also briefly our subject and voila couple of months later at least 3 competitors to MDT turn up.

Time for MKM to offer these in US? , made in US? I am sure Alex would be up for a collaboration maybe make an version 3.0

I'm open to making parts for whomever! Don't want to be seen as copying someone's idea, etc, but my specialty is quickly becoming production for other OEMS in addition to my own products.

If anyone has a good contact let me know...can metal print them if someone is looking to get real fancy as well....although there's no need.

Have been extremely satisfied with MLR level so far , but we also have preorder for SG levels since IWA and can't wait to get my hands on one of these

Note SC Pulse level networks with SG timers and your phone and enables diagnostic feed back for every shot

Here is a short vid with level and stability in MOA , angle cosine ,etc being recorded along with time and splits that are input by the timer, system can also synchronise the camera footage with timer

Have seen the watch app , and its quite cool

Here the app is on your phone and SG pulse is cheaper than MDT level that has no extra features.

Indeed watch going to sleep at 70 seconds will force your to fiddle with it .
The function that was missing with SG timer+ pulse combo are audiable time left warnings , i have spoken to them about that and they might jet add the feature.

The only thing that makes me nervous with these type of picatinny level mounts is I've found some in the past that depending on your rail, the reading changes based on how tight you mount them, which impacts the accuracy of the level. It's one reason I stopped using the US Optics BBL 300, I could watch the level shift as I tightened the mount bolt. I can't imagine trusting one that had a 3d printed or plastic mount. Tried a few others of similar design that did the same thing.

Setting the gun level is one of the things I always struggle to trust, I can use a digital level on the rail or flat of the action, lock everything in solid level in a gun vice set a barrel mounted level for reference, mount high quality scope rings with flats on the tops and they will be visibly different than the flats of the rail or action, even when the rings don't have a scope in them with the halves flush against each other. Given the CNC capabilities these days it just doesn't seem like it should be that hard to have everything square up or be really close, but it almost never seems to work that way even on high end gear. Same for stocks/actions/rails/rings that have levels built in they almost never agree with other reference points. I just get it close enough and do my scope leveling at the range.

I do like the idea that some of these you can calibrate what level is, that allows you to still use one if you shoot with a cant or have a rail etc. that's slightly out of level.

Even if the mount is out of level , digital level can be calibrated level by a press of a button and on the fly , with bubble level that is not the case

I agree bubble levels in stocks are not something i would give much credence to , basicaly if you want to make it work you have to align your reticle to your stock level not the other way around like with most levels.

"Stability mode" and being able to monitor your wobble zone seems like it would be useful for positional training or stage analysis. That's pretty neat.

Digital levels are distraction gizmos

You only need a level past 1000 and a bubble will give you better than 0.5 degrees.

Waste of money if you ask me. Had them. Sold them

Do not know yet , but here in Europe prices kinda run round 200$ for all these levels as now 4+ different manufacturers offer electronic levels ,2 of them with occular led ,at this price range so would be suprised if this one cost much more ,
