I got my super swage not too long ago and have used it on thousands of .223 rounds. I noticed some online videos and how easily they were pushing the handle up and down. Trying to duplicate that would get me almost no crimp removal. I decided to open it up and it was BONE DRY! Apparently it came with no lube, after lubing it up I can adjust it to get as much crimp removal as possible and it is effortless. What a difference, it's like a completely new machine.

Yeah, I love my Dillon Super Swager. I've noticed that a little extra lube on the parts when you switch out the rods helps keep things working smoothly.

Also, my handle started developing some surface rust, so whenever I'm done using it I run some CLP over that too.

Actually, I was just going to post here asking for recommendations on what swager/reamer to get for doing the primer pockets on military brass.

I have about 1000 fired 30.06 cases, headstamped "L.C. 69,"
that need to be reamed out for repriming, like my other commercial 30.06 cases. Been holding on to them for a while now, but wanted to get started using them.

Is Dillon's "Super Swage 600" the only or best option?

Don't know, just asking. Thanks for the help.

It is the best thing short of getting a 1050.

You might check the primer pockets on your LC 69 brass. Some that I have seen are noticeably shallower than standard. I suppose they could be deepened but just culling them is easier.

After swaging I always use a sinclair primmer pocket tool uniformer to make all the pockets the same depth. It works great with a drill attachment they sell.
