DIP 455 25moa rail question

Anyone have any problem with this rail holding the weight of a scope. I'm putting a SWFA 12x on it. 6-8 inch pounds is recommended torque. Just wondering if anyone had any problems with the rail slipping

i have a scope the weight of a brick on my cz, no problems.

have one on a mid weight scope on a mkii savage, no problems there either.

Good to know thanks. Kinda want to get it tapped so the receiver doesn't get marred. I'm anal like that

There is over 2lbs of USO hanging atop my 455 DIP 25 moa rail. This one fit very tight on the dovetail and I wound up having to persuade it on with a nylon hammer. I then installed all the screws and probably over torqued em so hopefully it will stay put.

Remember to drop a small lead bird shot pellet into each hole if you are concerned about marking your receiver with the set screws.
