Rifle Scopes do u like burris zee rings?

Re: do u like burris zee rings?

I have them on .22 LR's to .308's never been an issue.
Also with the inserts you don't need a canted base, as with a extra set of inserts you can get up to 40 MOA of cant if you want. I don't own safe queens, and yes they will take a licking an keep on ticking.

Ain't as tacticool as most here want, but never had a target say it could only be killed via a top of the line everything stick either. All Deer, Hogs, paper an steel have been just as dead/hit as the ones I've shot with GAP's topped with USO's held with "Name" bases an rings. Go forth and enjoy.

Re: do u like burris zee rings?

Absolutely love them. I have them on my .20BR, 7mm STW, 7mm WSM, 6X47L. Never had an issue at the very least. One thing to note is that the 30mm rings come with four torx screws, and the 1 inch come with 2 torx screws. Since I only have 30mm tubes, I can only vouch for the 30mm (4 screw rings). That being said, I doubt you would see any issues with the 1 inch as well.

My buddy also uses them and we are convinced they are a great ring and we will continue to use...especially if you don't have a 20MOA rail.

Re: do u like burris zee rings?

I put the 1" Zee Signatures on my 10/22. With the eccentrics I have 36 moa forward slope. I used a +.02 aft, and -.02 forward.

I'm using 30mm Burris Dual dovetail Signature on one of my 308s. The eccentrics added 19 moa. That was with a +.01 aft, and -.01 forward. There are no .02 eccentrics available for the 30mm. On this rig, I shimmed the aft base 40 moa, for a total of 59 moa forward slope.

Love em! Specially for 22's and air rifles. I've had them on varmint rifle centerfires as well but nothing bigger.Never any problems and saves having to buy angled bases.

Re: do u like burris zee rings?

I have a set on my 25.06 Remington. Put them on when I bought the rifle new. I have had no problems with them over the years and it has put down many deer. I think for the application they are just fine.

Re: do u like burris zee rings?

My first choice for rings whenever possible. My rifles do not see hard use ( hunting or heavy duty tactical competitions ). Also I don't shoot big hard kickers so I can't comment on that facet of long term durability. But I find they work for me.

Absolutely love the interchangeable plastic inserts. Can be a real life saver sometimes. Especially when you have severe misalignment problems. And to boot they leave no ring marks!
Did I also mention they are inexpensive?

Try a set. You might like em.

Re: do u like burris zee rings?

I've got a set. They are buy far the best rings I've ever used. I love these things. The ones I've got are the 1" versions and I've never had a problem with the scope moving in them. Not only do they seem to be great quality rings, like you said no lapping is required, and they don't leave ring marks on the scope. I just can't find a single bad thing to say about them. I will certainly buy more.

Re: do u like burris zee rings?

One thing I didn't think to mention is you said Burris Zee rings in the title. The Zee rings are the ones that don't have inserts. They are cheaper, but just normal steel rings. I've never used those. The ones with the plastic inserts are the Signature Zee rings. I just assumed the post was about those, so I just wanted to clarify that I'm recommending the Signature Zee ones, not the regular ones.
