or just a list of gun smiths i am missing? i have never looked in the vending section, but ill look there. is there such a list on the site? im kinda just trying to get some prices. i need a new barrel mounted, but since i would have to buy everything, it may be cheaper to have it done than buy all the tools. possibly looking to have a time and true on the action. but really i was just wondering if we had lists of services of members

ill look thru these and contact everybody. i have a 10fcp-hs. i just got a new shilen select match and a bigger recoil lug. what i need is to have the barrel mounted. having no experience, or tools i have been looking around and shopping prices. i have thought about having the action gone over, but after talking to Jim at Northland, he didnt seem to be too enthused about that operation. i havent tried an action thats been timed & trued so i cant really compare. im thinking i can bed it myself, but for the barrel, id have to buy all the tools for this one use. even if i bought a receiver for this barrel and had 2 rifles, i cant see ever changing barrels. i guess i could buy the tools and be the local savage guy, but im not really that ambitious

ok here i go, just to be open about what im looking for. i need prices on each service alone and possibly a better price for getting it all done at once. i need a price on having that barrel mounted, what ever is involved in that and i have a new recoil lug thats thicker than factory so the inlet will have to be widened. i need a price on having the action timed and trued. what all do you do in this operation? and lastly i need a price on skim bedding. my HS stock already has pillars if that matters. thanks, Anthony

Fred at Sharp shooters supply does magic with these actions and his prices are real decent. He also has wrenches for the new style barrel nuts...................danny

Also see Jim at http://www.centershotrifles.com/services/. Great guy to deal with and you can see results of Savages he has worked on, on his website.
