Yep. While I wasn’t a Marine (soldier here), we, too, snapped in during BRM. Although, not for a full week, like I’ve heard the Corps recruits do.

Even after boot camp and we were in the FMF, we had to snap in for a full week every time we had to qualify. Sucked big time sitting in a circle around a white barrel with black dots painted on it. Pendleton can get hot in the summer.
