DOA Tactical Shooting Benches

Has anyone tried these? They look very heavy duty and well-made. DOA is a service disabled veteran owned company. Since they are a small company, they appear to be pretty flexible and can customize the tables to your individual needs. Apparently, they are currently selling to the various service branches which means prices are geared to the very deep-pocketed government entities... Not good news for the prospective individual buyer who has to watch pennies! Check them out and compare them to others out there.

They have supplied benches at SHOT Media Day for the past couple of years...quality bench. Well made, sturdy top that's relatively light, takes about a minutes to setup and is simple to adjust for different users. The top and seat easily swivel which is sometimes handy. It's built in the US by guys that actually shoot. I don't often shoot off a bench; however, when I do, such as during chono work, I've been very pleased with my DOA.

I own one - bought it a few years back and was personally delivered by the owner of DOA (Brent - who is a really good guy by the way). It is in my opinion the best "portable" bench there is.

I threw the quotations on "portable" because it is portable in the sense that it isn't static. You can move it if you have a vehicle, have two men to carry it or like making a couple trips back & forth carrying it's two parts (base/table) - it is certainly lugging heavy weight by yourself. If you think you're hiking around with it, think again because as I said, it is built like a tank and heavy. Regardless of what you're shooting - 50 BMG or a .22lr, this bench feels overbuilt and more than capable of extreme durability. It is built to last FOREVER.

Another cool thing about it is the fact that because the table top comes off and the tripod base folds up onto itself, it doesn't take up a bunch of storage space when not in use.

The fact that the table and the seat swing to adjust for every shooter is a big plus and the seat on mine is plush. I've never been shooting off of this bench and though of something that I didn't like about it.

It is the best money spent on a shooting table for sure - nothing else I've seen or used has been even close to as well built, sturdy and stable.

Can't address the benches, but I've done training with DOA, and Brent and John are good people. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again.

I have one and love it. It is obviously not a concrete bench to test loads on, but our range has a static target area and we drive to different distances, set up the DOA and hammer steel.

It was given to me one Christmas as a gift but after using one, I'd buy it as well.

It is as close as you will come to concrete benches with the advantage of mobility. A big up to the top for Brent's benches. DOA Tactical benches are second to none and Veteran made here in the U.S.A.

Not to mention that Brent is one helluva good guy.

I've had one for a couple of years; I echo all the above, great bench. Brent made me large and small tops to accomodate various sizes/lengths of rifles. I pretty much leave the smaller top and the base tied down in the back of my Xterra. That way I can grab a rifle, my range bag, and get out and shoot virtually at whim (I live in northern AZ and shoot on BLM/FS/ranch land).

I've not yet had a chance to train with them but was given a standing invitation to come up and shoot. I really like these guys.
