Does anyone else shoot a M1D or a side mount scope

I've been shooting for a while and had to switch to a gas gun because of shoulder problems. I'm looking for some insight on the windage adjustment at different yardages. Adjustment should increase to the left as the yardage increases from a 100 yard zero out to 1,000 yards. Just wondering if anyone has a formula or dope for an offset scope to save a little bit of time. Thanks in advance for everone's input.

I use to run sniper schools for the NG using M1C/Ds. Ws shot on Ft Richardson's, (Alaska) KD range (200 to 600 yards) and their 1100 meter Machine Gun Range, plus the 300 meter pop up range.

The problem you address is just not there.

Your talking about a different Rifle. He is talking about an M1 Garand with a scope on it. the scope is off set to the left so you can load the rifle.

typing sure works better when one turns the desk lamp on.

I think you need to think about it less and do it more. The answer will become fairly obvious. The amount of deviation is probably a bit less than the rifle's basic cone of dispersion, and thus, tends to be lost in the background noise. If you find otherwise, I'd be interested to know.

Thanks for the insight guys,
I'm becoming a machinist and starting to apply trig to some aspects of shooting so I tend to over think things now. I'm going back to the basics (shut up and shoot). If I do find conflicting information, I'll post it ASAP for so everyone can find it.
Thanks again
