Does anyone still have Terrapins in stock?

Been bumping a WTB on here for months with no bites, and I've called everywhere I can think of.


I found the last one at Ashbury, but it's brown and won't ship 'till August. (So someone go get it!)

I feel like a douche saying this, but I have to get a green one, My rifle, Kestrel, and Nomad are all O.D. and I'm O.C.D. enough that it would bother the hell out of me to have a non-matching rangefinder.... I do the same thing with my Barbies.


So does anyone have any inside info on where I can snag one?

Last I heard all the last few that would be made are all brown color. Maybe get it and have it coated to your taste? Not sure if that's good idea or not but best I have, sorry! I was in same boat first of June and luckily found one. I think at this point just take what you can find!

That's the last of the OD and blue, there are a few tan ones still in the pipeline, but then that's it.

I've got some PLRF 15C's, which are of course a lot more expensive, but the tan cover can be replaced with black, or removed and coated with SEM paint. Otherwise I fear your are looking to trade with someone who really wanted tan.

There is no current word on what, if anything, will replace the Terrapin.

Man am I glad I got mine a year ago when the rumor was going around that they were messing with their product line.

Mine has been dropped, kept in a ruck while climbing the side of a mountain, has sand everywhere and works without an issue.

I sent my deposit in to grab one of these puppies. I wasn't exactly on the market for a rangefinder but Im building my first precision rifle, so I had to pop for one. I'd rather have and not need than need and have it be freaking discontinued....I think that is what my grandpappy use to say.

I ordered one of these this morning after seeing this thread. I have been wanting to upgrade my fusion 1600s for a while now. I was holding out as long as I could hoping a new model was on the way, but nothing has yet been released or even rumored as far as I have seen. I figured this is my last chance to snag one. Can't wait to get it! I really hope a new version doesn't come out now...

Had it a couple weeks now and came to this conclusion: This is what a range finder is supposed to be! I have been successful at ranging buildings as far as 4847 yards. I was a little concerned about it only having 5x magnification, but I don't seem to have an issue with it at all. Glass is much better than I was expecting. Feels very solid and robust. I need to play with it some more on small less reflective targets to see what it will do. So far it seems I have finally got a rangefinder that will match the capabilities of my ELR rifles.

Exact same situation and called Mile high today and got one. Thought I was too late to the party. Can't wait to use it, and no more using the jeep and walkie talkies to range out to a mile.

I'm picking mine up at Mile High Friday, (need to wait till I get paid, $2K, ouch) but I did play with it today when I was up there buying an Aimpoint. This thing flat out works, if ya can't see it, ya can't shoot it!

I think they have a few more and then that's it, call Randy or Dave at Mile High! Great guys!
