Night Vision does tube size matter?

so if using a pvs-30, or a m2124-lr or even a simrad, does the day scope tube size matter as far as clarity and image? like right now i am using a cheapo ziess 1" tube 6-22 scope, cause it is lighter, if i used a 34mm atacr, would there be any discernable difference? switching everything out to see is a pita, thought some folks on here might already know. thanks for any info.

Tube size doesn’t matter (1inch vs 34mm) but the clarity of the day optic does matter. If your ATACR is noticeably more clear in the day it will be noticeably more clear at night.

a 30 mm tube allows more adjustment for windage and elevation... nothing else.
