Been doing some load work with the .308 since I have done a free float stock and a trigger. I think I found a load I will stick with.

CCI 200 Primers
45gr Varget
175gr SMK
Winchester brass neck sized

Here is a "group" at 431 yards. There was an inconstant wind so I am not worried about the horizontal spread. But I am very happy with the vertical spread

Here is a short video of shooting this group
<object width="425" height="350"> <param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/I6oiwb4q1rs"></param> <param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param> <embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/I6oiwb4q1rs" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"> </embed></object>

And my quick drop chart for coyote hunting. If I have time I will use my phone app and dial in the correction.

Here is a video of my wife shooting the .308 This is only the 2nd round she has ever shot with this rifle, First one was a HIT and then I got out the video camera.

Nice group and rig, how are the primer pockets holding up with 45gr? I mean you cant argue with the group.

I ran 44.8 before and it was accurate but would eat up Lapua brass rather quickly.
