Picked up a DPMS SASS 5.56 18" barrel for a cheap build i was putting together. After 2 months i finally got to the range only to have a hiccup after the 2nd shot, it was a failure to fully eject. After a close inspection of the cartridge i noticed what looked like faint reamer marks that were formed in the wall of the case at about mid point. I've heard stories before how a peice of metal can get caught between the cutter and the wall of the chamber and create "Groves" in the chamber wall.
Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar. The barrel was purchased thru Midway, but i guess i'll have to deal with DPMS directly to try and resolve the problem....
