I am looking at Midwest ind AR-10 handguards and one is for DPMS high and one is for DPMS low. This is going on a Rainier Arms Ultra Match Billet Upper Mod 3. Any help on which handguard I need would be appreciated. A explanation of the difference would also be appreciated.

Older DPMS manufactured receivers have the rail approx 1/16" higher than their newer production receivers.

So older are high, newer are low. AeroPrecison receivers are/uses the "high" standard, so if you wanted the handguard rail to be flush with the receiver rail, you would want a high handguard to not have a step or height difference, for example.
