Here's mine I've been working on. Its a 260LR
JP trigger
carbon fiber tube
blacked out barrel
with a nightforce sitting on top
Still have some wishes to fill but over time. Its a shooter </div></div>
Those carbon fiber tubes look slick. I know what you mean about wishes and time. It seems like I always have something on the wish list. But I need to spend what little I have left on ammo for shooting. Maybe next year...

Cowboy, I'm glad you decided to post in this thread! I've seen your threads and enjoyed seeing the paint come together. I like how you made a traditional camo look so right. Good work! Have you had it out to the range yet?

mine is as pigly as well... weighed it with an accurate scale yesterday and it came in at 14.25lbs without the bipod on the front and no mag in it.

dpms lr308 with 24" bull barrel cut down to 18.

currently looking at upper options or another 308 thats lighter with a red dot only setup for close range. this one sure is nice for most any situation though...

190yards tonight:

That's pretty sharp looking. I know that the PRS is kinda heavy, but that looks fairly maneuverable. What's it weigh in at?

As shown (unloaded but w/ mag), it weighs in at just a shade under 16 lbs.

Hmmm, yeah. So still no lightweight in any sense of the word. But still a sharp looking unit.

I got mine dialed in really well a couple weeks ago at 100 yards, so next weekend I plan to stretch it out a bit and enjoy the reason I chose the LR style. I'm having fun with this one...

Re: DPMS LR-308 & Variants - Post Your Rig

The silver / black rifle is a .308 Christensen Arms CA-10. Carbon fiber wrapped 16" 416R SS barrel, Timney trigger, Zeiss 3-9 Conquest. I was told at my LGS that it's guaranteed to .5 moa. I can't find anything on their site about it but their ar-15's state .5 moa.

I'm new to mid/long range shooting and after dropping the coin on the CA-10, had to semi cheap out on the glass.

The all black rifle is a plain jane KAC SR-15 with an Aimpoint PRO, Vltor A5 and Surefire Millenium.

That's the first side cocking upper I've seen. How do you like it?

Have you had it out yet?

That's a great camo pattern. Does it have a name or is it just a custom? You must get some great comments at the range.

Nice haul! Filling the freezer!

Yes, the DPMS LR308 should be a great deer getter. It's shoots better than almost every deer rifle I grew up with and have owned up 'til now.
