Range Report DPMS SASS BREAK IN TODAY

I broke in my new DPMS SASS rifle today.25 rds punch bore and chamber after ever round. Then punch bore and chamber after every 10 up to 100 rds.I was shooting at 50 yds on
the pistol range to be out of eveyones way.I was shooting
Lake city 06 brass 175gr SIERRA BTHP 40grs of IMR 4895
CCI 34 PRIMER.I know warranty.First round on the target
I was using the 8 inch shoot n see targets.By the 5th round
I was key hole in shots.so I used the 50 cent size replacements to finsh out the 10rd strings.I am going to a ARMS 36 riser and ARMS 22 MED rings This scope is to low with
USMC BADGER DMR RINGS.THE DPMS SASS fired great.I was considering removing the muzzle brake but the recoil is like a .223 and follow up shots are quick.here are the pics

I really like the idea of the sass and I bought one when they first came out. Mine shot OK. I found it to be VERY finicky even with reloads. Its a sexy rifle for sure. I hope yours is a tack driver.

I have the LR-308 which I have done some work to but same barrel as yours and mine has always performed great, reloads or not.
I get 0.222 groups of three at 160yards with my reloaded 168 AMAX
