For those that don't know, dramworx pretty much makes all of the Pyrex powder hopper for numerous powder droppers including the V2/V3 set up. I've now broken mine 2 times.

The first time dramworx took such good care of me and this past time yet again went above and beyond to not only get me fixed up but to get my new one set up exactly the way I need it so it works best for me. Just awesome to deal with an outfit that really does want to get people taken care of and then does it.

Totally agree just got mine and they were great to work with!

Good on the company, but how did you break two hoppers? I thought Pyrex was more drop resistant.

I’m a compulsive hopper emptier, so I never actually bought one, although I looked a few times.
Both time we're similar. I don't remember exactly the first time but I set it down on the base so it sat upright....well that base is like 3/4" where it sits on the dropper so it's not stable to sit it there like that. I have a big piece of quartz where my scale sits and all so if the hopper falls over on that it's going to break. The second time which was sat or Sunday, I was taking the hopper off and my kid came in and was looking out the back door of my loading room and made this big noise and said "dad you better come here quick", so I set the dang hopper down again on top of the quartz and ran over there and the hopper fell over and broke.

Pyrex isn't break resistant glass or anything, it's heat resistant but it will break. I will have a spare tube when my new hopper comes in that I can put with the old alum parts and at least won't be stuck without one again when it happens again. Once the new IP system is out this will be a lot less of an issue I think because it won't have that tiny base to fit into the dropper.

Just to update. I did get my 2 dramworx hoppers last week and they are the fat ones that he then cut down a little but so it wouldn't hit my cabinet door on the upper cabinets when I open it. Really cool to be able to get that kind of thing so quickly and done to fit what I need, and without even charging me extra anything they gave me a 2nd glass to keep as a back up to put on my left over alum base. Doesn't get any better than that for CS.
