Drone Captures Moose vs Wolf In Fight for Life

Damn, that had to be a hungry wolf to got it solo. At the end I'm imagining him/her looking at the second wolf and being "where the fuck were you? I just fought a fucking moose BY MYSELF!!!!"

Beautiful scenery/photography. I can see that...owning some wolves, I know how determined/hard headed they can be. Much like their pack commander, me.

Fkn wolves, and them are the little ones. We are blessed with the Canadian / Yukon variety 200 pounders.

After seeing what mice cn do at only 80 lbs, thats a scary thiught. My cub can easily jump a 6 ft fence and shes only 10 months. I watched her grab one end of a 1"x6"8" and drag it across the yard.

Defending against a pack of them would be tough without a gun.

So i might have a different view point. I was cheering for the moose as it seems we all were.
But a couple of observations. Why was i on the mooses side? Does the wolf not have as much right to life as the moose? Wolf is just doing what a wolf does.
Next it showed me one (there could be more than 1) of the differences between a "animal" and a human. Not that humans are not animals per se. That is reasoning skills. The whole time i was telling the moose "go to deeper water".

When the wolf latched on, i was thinking drown that fucker. The moose finally dunked the wolf underwater. But that was either due to fatigue or a stumble not the act of actually thinking "drown this fucker" . Once the wolf got lungs full of water he finally let go.

Very interesting video. The moose had a ton of advantage but it honestly was a lot closer than it should have been. The water helpped but the moose did not fight much different that it would have on land if at all.

This is what makes the human "animal" so dangerous. We can think/reason on our feet and react based on more than just "instinct"

Just my take/observation

There aint much I wouldnt do to get a mountain lion and/or wolf hunt. Badass. Still gets my blood flowing seeing a yote in the traps, but everything I hear..wolves are on quite a bit higher plane of intelligence.

Tell ya one thing, out of all the shit I caught, absolutely nothing put up a struggle to the bitter end like this one particular otter. Lot a the time, yotes and cats seem to kinda know what time it is, they get that defeated look. But this fuckin otter, he had the will to live. Have seen a yote or 2 with toes missing though, so maybe theyd tangled with some traps before and lived to fight another day...Nothing worse than stupid opossums tho. They'll freeze dead still and swear they convinced you, saw one that had like 8 little baby opossums hanging out its belly halfway. I dont know if thats how they carry em or what the fuck. Looked strange as all get out. No clue but they certainly didnt look fresh out the womb there wasnt any slimy shit from what I recall, just looked like 6 or 8 youngins were stuffed inside the things belly headfirst LOL. Maybe she was giving birth I dont know, helluva way to come into the world hah..never seemed to catch any hogs for whatever reason. Pretty sure Ive gotten every other mammal species in south GA just about though. Even watched a squirrel knock itself silly trying to headbutt its way out one time. Proudest was probably getting a fox, just cause it was so rare. Only time even seeing one firsthand, a big ornery gray fucker. I was young at the time, and he was calm as ever sitting inside there so I stuck a stick in at em to provoke some type of action and he tried his best to take some fingers with him. Need to set some traps up here in outskirts of Atlanta LOL I bet the neighbors would love it.

Yes. They are marsupials, like kangaroos. They haul the young around in the pouch.

Hm. Makes sense. I was dumbfounded at the time. She had froze up inside our little box trap so I turned the bitch upside down to try and convince to go on her way. Gave me a startle when I saw like 8 sets of little legs hanging out her as she clung to the bottom doing her damnedest to imitate rigor mortise lol..
The die hard otter was on a badass snare we rigged up at the lake shore. Fucker tried to dig to China in this crazy spinning spiral motion. Gotta admire determination I suppose.
