Never dropped a barreled action before. Dropped mine yesterday off the bench and hit barrel first onto the cement, while I was adjusting a 520-CE. It then came back onto the back end of the action where it dovetails and scuffed the blueing off with a miner graze imperfection. Can anyone give me a warm and fuzzy? What could happen from this?

I dropped my .223 Bolt gun after grabbing it by the suppressor cover, cover slipped off in my hands, landed on a scope turret on asphalt (SWFA 10x) and edge of my brand new can..... in front of my wife.... left a couple marks.... didn’t loose zero though!!!

Butterfingers here pitched an old Leupold VXIII out of his hands at shoulder height in the kitchen, and watched in horror as the eyepiece bounced perpendicularly off the tile floor and the scope bounced off the objective before landing.

The scope has a little rough patch on the eyepiece, and still tracks and holds zero, and I no longer butter my hands before playing with guns and optics.
