Got in late tonight, tired, splitting headache from quitting caffeine. Pulled my backpack out of the truck, didn't realize the strap was looped on my Henry 22 lever action. It hit muzzle first on the concrete drive way, then scope, then settled on the wood stock. Swore silently...a lot, got it inside and looked it over. The muzzle end of the barrel on the outside edge is chewed up pretty bad but the bore seems intact. The stock has several 8th inch gouged in it. Looked through the scope at the wall in the dimly lit den, and the crosshairs looked straight still.
I've never dropped a gun this bad. Do you think it will still shoot true? It's not exactly an Olympic tack driver but still 3/4 inch at 50 yards was good enough for me
