Is there a site or a formula out there for dry fire range. For example: I'm 13' away from my wall and I would like a scale target say at 400 yards a 6" target then at 800 yards a 12" target then at 1200 yards a 24" target and so on or what ever size at what ever range. I would like to make ranges and exercises to shoot in my basement this winter. Any help or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks everyone.

Use your reticle to judge relative target size. If you shoot PRS style stuff then 1-2 MOA (0.3 - 0.6 mil) size dots will work.

Smaller is fine too, no harm in practicing on something harder than you'll do in real life.

Check this little tool out... http://www.indecorous.com/bullseye/moacalc.html

I'm not convinced it's 100% accurate - either that, or I measured my space wrong, but the numbers it comes up with seem to be slightly smaller than what my reticle indicates. But, it's a start, anyway... For instance, for a 17 foot distance (for my IOTA), the circles I printed to be 2 MOA (which should exactly match the center crosshair on my AMG) end being small. The 3 MOA circles are perfect size. Go figure...
