Rifle Scopes DTA scope ring height

Re: DTA scope ring height

I wouldn't limit the question just to a DTA, anyone with a flat top can chime in on this one. I run a DTA mount on my SRS with my USO 5-25x58 (35mm 40moa)

I also run the gap/badger on my Sass (34/30mm 20moa)

I assume thats to the bottom of the scope ring saddle? or is it the centerline?

Re: DTA scope ring height

Truthfully, the height all depends on the built in MOA. I have both the DTA 20 MOA and 30 MOA, and the height differs with the 2 at the very end of the eye piece of the scope. It's not much of a difference, but enough I can tell with how I place my head. I find my self tucking tighter aginest the stock more with the 20 MOA.

I have to run the 30 MOA, due to my fat head being to big for the 20 MOA. In other words depending on the cant of the rings it kicks the rear of the scope up, down, or if you have a 0 MOA, stays stationary.

I know your specifically asking for measurements, so give me a few and I'll measure the 2 I have.

Re: DTA scope ring height

Sorry, I got busy answering questions on items I have for sale, ironically enough, one of them is a DTA 20 moa rail. The measurements are as followed:

20 MOA - 1.600
30 MOA - 1.800

Now these measurements are on my DTA with a USO SN-3 5-25x58 at the center line of the furthest point back at the eye piece. It may vary just a bit with others.

Hope this helps.
