I used one on an LTR .223, and was very satisfied. They pop up used occasionally for around $25, and are a great alternative for those not wanting to have an oversized bolt knob installed.

Hopefully I'll pick one up soon, looks like a nice concept. No modification of the bolt and a good price drew me in.

Yea. Just got mine in last week and works awesome! Great feel while shooting. After seeing mine, a few buddies already have theirs on order.

Re: Due any of you use KRG bolt knob on your rifle?

I originally got one for my 700 as an interim solution to suit my budget, with the intention of saving a bit and having a knob installed at a later date. I did have to relieve the bottom inside edge w a dremmel bc there was just a tiny bit of interference with my trigger finger. I'm very happy with it, and at this point have no intention to have a knob installed. I'd love to see them come out with a metal version, but that would just be for the LCCD (looks cool, chicks dig it) factor.

Something else I liked is that the bolt lift comes in a nice little package with everything you could possibly need for the installation. In my opinion it speaks to the attentiveness of the company and their understanding of the end user. Plus it fit so well I didn't even use the epoxy that comes with it.

Yes, It's a well thought out design, I used it on my Rem 700 SPS in .308 for a while, then upgraded to a full on tactical bolt install. It's a "interim" upgrade if you rundecided, or if you're sticking to a budget

Re: Due any of you use KRG bolt knob on your rifle?

The KRG knob also allows people who have issued rifles like Military and Police snipers to have a upgrade bolt knob without modifying a bolt that they are not allowed to modify.

I did recently see a post that told a story of a guy's custom bolt knob failing in a competition (somehow falling off). If that would ever happen to the bolt on product, you would still have the cast in standard bolt knob underneath. The cast steel knob is without a doubt going to be stronger than an aluminum knob threaded onto the stub left from the modification of the cast steel knob.

So there are definitely some unique advantages to the KRG product.

Re: Due any of you use KRG bolt knob on your rifle?

I've had mine on my 700 since the summer. Looks and works great. Because of its thicker size compared to the usual badger bolt knob you have to sometimes be careful of your scope and its placement if it has some type of throwlever on the mag ring. I can't use the max power on my weaver tactical because the throwlever and knob run into each other causing the bolt to stick. That however will get rectified when I sell the scope next month and upgrade. I'd highly recommend getting one.

The KRG knob is awesome. I wager you won't go back to a regular knob after using it. Compare it using gloves such as during cold weather; you get much more control with the oversized knob.

Well, just got mine, mounted it up, spray bombed it quick, since I don't like black on my rifles, and I like it a lot. Makes cycling the bolt a lot smoother and faster; Great purchase.
