Anyone bought one recently that'd like to give me a review? Ideally one of the fully made products, or a kit where all you have to do is cut a 2x4 for the stand. I unfortunately don't know how to weld. While it would be fun to learn, I can't think of enough other things to make learning worthwhile.

Something Like THIS would do. Ideally maybe with an optional set of smaller paddles.

This would be a fun thing to have when taking the wife/friends to the range for .22 low cost fun, yet still train for making good shots and wind calls. The smaller the paddles, ease of transport, and ability to swing when hit at distance with CCI SV (100, 200, 300yds) are paramount.

Thanks!!!

MGM makes a cool football spinner. I think that would be far more fun than a dueling tree. You still have to duel, but timing is critical

That thing is pretty cool! Wife would smoke me 10/22 vs Bolty heh. Think it'd still spin on hits at 200/300yds?

MGM with the armored column. Loads of fun with 223s at 100 and a great 400m reactive target. Fun at pistol range. Grease the pivots and bang away.

For 22, I had a MGM and thought it was pretty good. No tools, good solid back and forth. I also have an Action Target dueling tree too. Pretty good so far. More complex than the MGM with the target rigging. A bit heavier too. Some of the cuts were a but spalled and I had to take a dremel to open them up for the bolts.

I did purchase the one I linked to in my OP. They made me an additional set of 2" paddles to go with it. Total cost of $200 + a few 2x4's.

Seems pretty solid. Will require toting around a hammer to get the 2x4's into the frame. Hammering them in shaves the boards.

Should get to try it out this weekend.
