If its a scope from a decent mfg you will be fineI was just curious if the concussion affected it after a while. Thanks for the answer.
Thanks. That helps. Kind of new to all of this. There is a ton of info to sift though here.If its a scope from a decent mfg you will be fine
Scopes internal tracking mechanisms can wear out over time but recoil/concussion itself shouldn't cause an issue if it's from a reputable mfg

Ya, I’d assume that could cause several problems. It’s going on a 6.5 CM so I’m pretty sure it’s not going to get a ton of concussion. The reason for the question is that I’m looking to buy one and used is more friendly on the pocket book. I can get a really good used one in my price range. I just have to figure out if I want MIL or MOA. Seems to be an argument there with this group. Thanks for replying. Not unless you don’t have it torqued down correctly and it jostled around with each shot. Even then if it’s a half decent scope it shouldn't effect it much

Oh I get that man and that’s usually the thing in life. However, I’ve seen a Mercedes Benz be a price of shit and a Toyota Corolla run for decades. Now, rather the continued concussive effects on a scope affects the internal mechanics of a scope, is more what I’m wondering. It’s all regarding a purchase of a used NF optic if that helps. In the end you get what you pay for. Buy once cry once.
See,Nightforce scopes carry a transferable limited lifetime warranty. Buy the scope. Don’t buy the scope. Whatever. Don’t worry about things that are not issues. If the price is right, and the scope is right, buy it. Send it to NF IF you have an issue.
You still going on with this? Let it go. It's not an issue as has been said repeatedly. Now, rather the continued concussive effects on a scope affects the internal mechanics of a scope, is more what I’m wondering.

It’s a dumb questions forum so don’t pipe up any more dude. I’ll ask the questions I need and comment as I need. You feel the need to be a dick, do it with someone else. Lastly, I am knew to long gunning past 500 with out optics, but I do hold a USMC range high record and am distinguished in the army, so new but not so new.You still going on with this? Let it go. You're obviously new at this. There are about a thousand other things you need to learn that are far more important.
