I started Duracoating about 2 years ago, but due to deployments and schools it's kept me away from it. I just wanted to throw this out there being a new guy I thought I'd show what I've done.

These are some projects that I've done for myself, family and friends. Let me know what you think, I like the criticism. If anyone in western TN in interested in having anything like this done or any other duracoat project then PM me and I'll give you a quote.

looks good. If you spray them with trulube after letting the clear matte dry it will make the chalkiness of the clear go away after it dries.

It's all home-made tape masks. Low adhesive 3" Blue 3M tape. I hi-jacked the wife's big cutting board, dug up an old exacto knife and threw in some new blades and got to drawing.

I'm always up for new projects, just have to make sure I'm going to be in the state let alone the country. Email is [email protected], it goes to my Blackberry, I get emails worldwide so no matter where I am I can at a minimum quote you and when I get back to Clarksville, TN I can recieve the project that you are wishing to have done.

To prep the glock I sand blasted the slide with a 30/60 grit crushed granite, roughed up the smooth portions of the frame. Gloved up and started degreasing the entire weapon, coated with the Duraphos, let it sit saturated for 5 minutes. I gave them a quick rinse and blasted it completely dry with air. then it was time for paint.
