Is there a way to determine if an Eagle Industries item was USA made, or made offshore if no tags are still attached?
Do the offshore (i.e. Dominican Republic or Puerto Rican) made items have something other than the "Eagle USA" brand label?
Or do they retain the "Eagle USA" label but have a separate tag saying "Made in xxxxx"?
How can one differentiate the true USA-made items from the offshore assembled ones?

Imported cases, inner paper tag reads Dominican Republic, the outer cloth tag just reads Eagle.
On USA made cases, the outer cloth tag reads Eagle USA, St. Louis MO.
Pouches etc. there is a plasticized tag on the back with the model# and where it was made.

At least that is what I have on my Eagle gear.

Out of curiosity, was Eagle predated by Assault Systems? If I'm not mistaken, they are/were both out of Fenton, MO. AS made nylon tac gear, I'm talking almost 30 years ago?

By the way-did you know that Blackhawk actually started on London Bridge Road?
