Anyone been to the show in Greenville, TN? I've been to the ones by a different promoter in Kingsport and Gray but haven't gone down to the Greenville one. Trying to figure out if it is worth the gas.

Sae your money up and take the wife and kids to DC on the weekend of The Nations Gunshow at the Dulles Expo center. Thy have a lot of cool stuff like water cooled machineguns and I saw a 20mm andti tank gun. I think the next ones on Feb 10th or so.

Re: East TN gunshow question

DC doesn't help me. Just spent the day wondering around the Richmond one. Had cash in pocket and only thing I bought was a wallet.

My brother in E. TN isn't able to drive. There's a show next weekend when I'm going to be down there and he wants to go. If it is 6 dealers selling double shotguns and rifles it isn't worth the trip.

At one time the promoter that holds the shows at the Meadowview was trying to cater to that crowd and didn't want Modern Sporting Rifles and surplus/militaria. My brother, a friend and I told the promoter he was a FN idiot and it was about 10 years before we went to another of his shows. By this time he had changed his policies. It was a fair show, not of the class that C&E used to have down there but better than nothing.

Re: East TN gunshow question

If it's anything like the one I just went to in Knoxville a couple weekends ago I would say skip it. Tons of booths and guns but 10x as many people. Doors opened at 9 with literally a half mile long line to get in. Then everything was panic priced from $2000 bushmasters to $4500 rock rivers, but the bushmaster did have a magpul stock so maybe it was worth it...
