Ebelstock gun runner

Debating between a Gunrunner and Lowdrag x3. Similar size pack volumes and X3's are hard to find in the color I want.

Will the scabard in on Gunrunner accomadate a scoped rem 700 manners t2 stock, with or without a harris? Does anyone have experience with this combination?

Thanks

Re: Ebelstock gun runner

Mine seems to tolerate bipods well, hangs up on vortex turrets a little, and the top flap doesn't quite fit over my hunting rifle. Not complaining, just saying that for me length has been more an issue, not volume. (damn! That sounds bad!)

Re: Ebelstock gun runner

Ceylonc is getting a bunch more of the Eberlestocks in on the 15th. I would pm him or got to his website and give him a call. He will tell you what will and wont work.

Re: Ebelstock gun runner

Definitely call Ceylon at Delta Outdoorsman. He has extensive knowledge of what fits in each pack and can guide you based on yours needs. Just picked up an Operator from him and all I can say is top notch service.

Re: Ebelstock gun runner

Based on what I'm reading, the Gunrunner's scabbard is going to be a little tight for your rifle/scope setup. The X3 LoDrag will easily accommodate the 700 and scope, and should be adequate capacity wise for most hunting and shooting applications. I'll need further elaboration regarding your needs & applications in order to determine whether you should consider other Eberlestock packs.

Feel free to give me a shout if you'd rather discuss your options.

Thanks & best of luck
