Eberlestock dragonfly widemouth

So I have been looking for this info everywhere with no luck...

I want to get a pack for hunting, have been looking at Eberlestock, I have narrowed it down to a couple packs. One of them I am looking at is the dragonfly widemouth. My concern is that I have a larger ar type rifle with optics I like to take out and want to make sure it will fit in the scabbard.

Can anyone tell me the measurements of the scabbard at the opening about mid-length and towards the bottom? I know it is bigger than the standard, but specific measurements would be great.

My other question is if this has a buttcover that fits, is it the smaller or larger one?

Check with ceylonc here on the hide. He owns deltaoutdoorsman.com and He will help you answer all your questions. Then you buy from him like most of us did and sing his praises! Ceylon is the best and his customer service is second to none! I'm a GSII owner (bought from Ceylon).

The dragonfly does not come with a scabbard. I purchased an A2LS, I think, with the butt cover: you wont be throwing a scoped AR in it. You may need the gunslinger 2 with the built in wide ass scabbard but I could be way off, just going off eberlestock's web site.

BTW I love my dragonfly: it'll carry a ton of meat with gear very well. Matt

I had a chance to call Eberlestock, so other people know, the dragonfly wide mouth is 9 in wide, if you need wider but still like the pack you can go with the blue widow and choose which scabbard you want- according to them it will fit up to the tactical size scabbard which I believe is the A4SS or something along those lines which I 11 inches wide.
