Give a little more info about what it will be carrying, and uses. Your EDC can very drasticlly between what mine might be.

Im going to guess that it isn't going to be carrying any real weight and pretty much anything that doesn't fall apart will work.
Eagle, Maxpedition, Camel bak, 5.11, OCP, Rothco, blackhawk, condor, London Bridge, Mayflour, Elberstock, kifru, Mystery Ranch. I could keep going but the real questions are how much do you want to spend, which operator are you trying to look like, or who are you trying to impress?
If it isn't going to be used for anything other than just little trips carrying things and a day hike, pretty much any pack made out of cordura should withstand any abuse you are going to put it through. If you want to look like someone who knows what a good tactical pack is, go with one of the last five listed, they will cost you though.
