Re: Electronic Ears
Got a chance to try my new Howard Leight Impact Sport yesterday at an outdoor range with canopy. This pair worked as advertised. With the earmuff turned off, I could barely hear anything, but turn it on a bit and I can hear conversations very clearly, but as soon as shots are fired the high decibels gets blocked effectively. Only "problem" I had was when the shots are going off all around, the earmuff basically blocks almost everything out, so the conversations are somewhat muted as well. Not really a problem for the most part.
Most importantly, I was able to maintain the same cheek weld on the stock with it on, so this one is a keeper.
