My local LGS has Eley Club for $3.99/50rnd box. I have no experience with Eley Club. I have a Vudoo 360 coming next week. Obviously no one can tell me if the Eley Club will work well with my rifle but I wanted to know if it’s cheap enough and has a good enough reputation for accuracy to just buy most of what they have since it’s about half price what I can find anywhere else.

Any input would be appreciated.

Vudoo recommends that customers who use their mags file them down to accommodate the Eley flat nose ammo. They also sell special followers to help with Eley loading . Lupua Center X works best in my Vudoo but I also use Eley with my Vudoo when I can't get Center X so I've filed down all my Vudoo mags. See: . Congrats on your new purchase. You'll love it.

Apparently the Eley Club is a round nose bullet.

eley club is my go to for practice/local match ammo

shoots better than any other target ammo I can find

Personally, I like the moly coating as well, so you don’t get wax everywhere during practice

Now I never gave that a thought. But you are right.
I have also noticed that my barrel is a lot cleaner than when I was using SK Rifle Match.
I see a lot less powder residue in the barrel (unburned powder?).
I like Eley ammo. Shot it for a few years when shooting prone with a BSA Martini target rifle (about 40 years ago!).

My Vudoo does not like Club. I will get at least 1 failure to fire or failure to extract out of every box. Sometimes 2 or 3, which is very frustrating for me. If you want to practice malfunction drills, get it.

Club is my go to ammo. It shoots great in all of my guns, out to 400yds. It runs $7.99 a box, the best I have seen it is $6.85. I would buy all they have for $3.99. If you gun does not like it, It's $3.99 a box, that is tin can shooting prices.

Buy a shit ton. I've had lots of that shoot better then red box and sk match. I've also had lots that don't hold it together after about 110 120 yards. Your milage may very; but for the price it's better then shitty remington or Winchester ammo.

My Vudoo doesn't like Club at all, but it LOVES Tenex. At that price, I'd buy all they had and use it towards plinking ammo.
Seems like most guys with Vudoos say the club doesn’t shoot all that well for them. It is stupid cheap though. I bought 3 bricks worth today. I probably go back and buy more I suppose.

$40 per brick for Eley Club is an excellent price. Club is a step above Eley Target but below Eley's match/flat bullets like their match or tenex line. I would buy it all for that price.

exactly! At $40 per brick, buy it all. That price is not much more than cheap bulk plinking ammo at that point. Typical price on club is around $70 per brick so unless you are mistaken on what it is, grab it all.
