I know its been on here a few times, but It’s been a while. I understand the benefits of a tubegun (adjustability and lower recoil) and the negatives (all metal and can be heavier), but what about when it comes to “practical” or PRS style shooting?
Was pretty dead set on a Bravo or XRAY for a Mausingfield but the Eliseo chassis keeps tempting me for some reason. Probably because I can use a long action and switch the lowers to accomodate 10 round SA AICS mags up to AI CIP .338 magazines (.223 - .300/.338). Unsure if I’d actually do it, but it’d be nice to know I can.
My main question is, what does an Eliseo chassis (practically) give practical shooters that a Bravo/Xray/etc would not? Think the biggest thing is shooting with no thumb shelf?
If you have one near Tuscaloosa, AL I’d LOVE the oppurtunity to handle one!
