When I think of real ELR, I think of 1-2 MOA target for distance. 1000 y=10"-20" target, 2000y=20"-40" etc...
This is rarely the case. Did anyone see the King of 2 mile target? Its was like ten feet tall and 6' wide. Not sure on exact measurements.
I think its your belief in you entire system. Rifle, scope, caliber, bullet, on and on, ect.....It starts with the careful selection of every component in said system. Then its on to load development. Then practice, practice and some more practice. KO2M team had 2 labradar's to confirm bullets velocity. Teams were made up of 3 guys, shooter, spotter, wind adjuster of scope. Rifle, scope, caliber, bullet, on and on, ect.....
When things start to go wrong then it becomes mental game of making a correction and not going crazy making adjustment.
More like 10% mental, 90% equipment/experiance.
