Hoping someone can offer a solution: I have my gmail set up to download emails to Outlook, but more and more I've noticed emails sent to me via DROID Verizon Wireless don't make it to Outlook. I find them when people say, "Yes, I sent that," and I search and find it on gmail, but not on Outlook. So I can't depend on Outlook anymore, and that's really inconvenient. Anybody able to eval? Thanks much--C

Re: Emails from DROIDS

You most likely have your Outlook set up to remove messages from server on close or download. This will keep it from being saved on the server so you can get it from your phone. Easy fix is to modify settings to leave messages on server for say a week or so before removal from server. That will fix it.

Re: Emails from DROIDS

Only if you are using two or more different devices with your Gmail. In other words if you have two or more seperate computers or phones or combonation of those if any single one is left in "default" setting that clears the mail from the server when it finishes the download of mail, then all devices you use after that point will not get any of that mail.

If you are not getting it to your Outlook only then you may have your spam or junk filters filtering out all Gmail accounts.

Re: Emails from DROIDS

Thanks so much for thinking this through with me. I only have one computer and no smart phones. I think I get email from most gmail senders just fine. Emails don't make it from gmail to Outlook coming from one person's Verizon, maybe others...I wonder if there's a way to reset the whole thing, and start from scratch?
