Looks very nice and have heard nothing but great things about them. I am looking forward to my first build from them also on my first Deviant action. Is the barreled action coated in the od green? I read somewhere in here that a couple people were having some binding issues with their Deviant when cycling the bolt quickly. Have you noticed this? I am just curios as i had a rifle built in the past on a Defiance action by Mike Bush and never had any problems.

Marc told me the painter he uses has some special technique to apply the microslick cerakote. Apparently, he takes off 0.001 off the surface to account for the cerakote. My bolt is slippery smooth :)

The barrel is coated in OD as well as the bolt.

The probable reason why they get "stick" bolt is that the deviant action tolerances are so tight, that you have to close the bolt straight or it will bind. Factor in cerakote and you have a tight fit...smooth, but tight. Its not like a 700 or surgeon that has a little slop in the bolt when cycling.

Thanks for the info. The build i am having done is the 1 he has going on in the group buy. The actions he is using have the NP3 on the bolt. I have had a lot of rifles built in the past but never 1 coated in this on the bolt. Looking forward to checking it as i have heard good things about this coating.
The coating he has listed is a Magpul green for the build. I am sure their are different shades of green used and wondering if a Magpul green is a little lighter or darker than a standard od green. The color done on your rifle looks great.

You are entering with a winner. Your rifle looks great. Marc has built me a couple of rifles and like some others I have, I wish I could shoot as good as they do.

I have a 6.5cm that Marc built and it really makes me look good with 140 amaxs.Mine is built around a Stiller AW and it is lots of fun!

I was in the shop the other week and saw this rifle. That is one smooth action. I have two 6.5 Creedmoor's cut with that reamer and they are hammers with the Berger 140 Hybrids. You're going to have a blast with that rifle!
