Create a channel Learn moreThanks Ilya! How durable is it? Like ACOG durable ?I like the 5x30 que a bit. It works pretty well with clipons that have fairly long lenses. I used it with a 50mm Gen1 Burris and iRay Hybrid75 with good success.

Noone knows. Mechanically, it is holding up very well. I managed to get one filled with water after sand and mud ripped through the seals on the eyepiece during a class, but then a bunch more have been tested for water immersion with no ill effects. Beyond that, I have not seen any issues and I do not think Element has had any returned or needing service so far (other than the one I abused). Thanks Ilya! How durable is it? Like ACOG durable ?
@koshkin please give a rundown on the mrad reticle subtension wise. I’m not finding it on their site.
I like it. Not too thin and not too thick.
These can be mounted in any 34mm rings. I have one sitting in two normal 34mm rings on a 10/22 since that puts the scope a little lower. Both rings are in front of the turret. What a cool optic!
With the included mount, can you place the picatinny section at 45 degrees or is it fixed at 90 degrees?
Can this be mounted in any 34mm ring?
The new 5x30 is a completely different design from the short eye relief 5x24.I am just curious what Element does to an already decent Immersive Optics Prism to justify double the cost. I have the 5x24 from Immersive and use it on an air rifle since the parallax focuses really short distance. The eye relief on mine is super short and can cause fogging issues in colder temps. The field of view is huge and great for squirrel hunting. I skip the cheapy mount that comes with it and just use a quality 30mm scope ring to mount.
Any feedback about durability? What's the going rate? Do you any in stock?I’ve sold a few of these so far and have been getting great feedback on them. Daylight bright reticle, good glass.
PM for details. Thanks!Any feedback about durability? What's the going rate? Do you any in stock?
Hi Ilja
Are you looking at from your phone? it looks quite sharp through the browser on my computer. You may want to try on a different device.Hi Ilja
Can you post or attach a higher quality image of the BDC reticle diagram showing the subtentions, please. The text an dimensions show very blurry when I try to look at it.
Also, how does the ranging with the bottom diagram work? I cannot find any manual for it.View attachment 8516836
Thanks for the explanation. Are you looking at from your phone? it looks quite sharp through the browser on my computer. You may want to try on a different device.
The ranging is for a 70" tall object (long vertical lines). Horizontal line is 18" at each distance (shoulder width). Vertical line above the horizontal is 12". Vertical line below the horizontal is 58".
