RIP Brother !!! Thoughts and Prayers for Him an His.

Shot from behind. Pathetic Coward takes out a "Trailblazer". I hope the shooter burns in Hell.

It appears the shooter would still have 12 years left on a prior 29 year sentence, if he hadn't been let out early. Two years ago a warrant was issued that included assault and possession of a prohibited weapon. Nothing to see here, move along.

I wonder if Acevedo will go somewhere campaigning for more gun control.

Repeat violent felons are deserving of a bit more scrutiny, they have such a reliable record of further violent acts.

Yes he will. In the name of purely self interest and to shift any public attention away from his own faults, failures, and misgivings. Nothing associated with Acevedo can be believed or trusted.

    R.I.P. Patrolman...

Liberal policies took this Deputy's Life, in a normal world the felon that shot him should of been rotting in a cage deep below the surface of the earth.

    This X100 times...

Why is someone who has obviously demonstrated a blatant incapability to function in a normal civilized society able to return to it and bring more sorrow to it?

He lived as a warrior and died a martyr. A Sikh can pray for no better end. His community has lost, but God has won.

I am not sure of what Sikh believe in the after life. I am willing to be educated my friend.
    With that.
I hope with all my being that he has an amazing after life.

    Indeed.

Sandeep was a model citizen, officer and human period.

He was a stud that mixed humanity and kindness with strength and quiet ability. Basically a good example that any male wanting to be a "man" could try to emulate. He was 100 times more of an American Patriot than most of the sheep he came in contact with every day.

It would be an honor to meet him one day after we are returned to dust.

Wishing strength and honor to all of his family and friends.

As a Texan, I can't believe the shooter was let out early. RIP deputy and prayers sent to your family.

One of my employees who lives in Harris County was recently involved in an altercation with a guy who was on probation for an aggravated assault charge. Road rage incident where the early release criminal was the aggressor. More liberal bullshit. Let the criminals rot in jail like we sentenced them to.

    RIP Deputy.

    RIP Deputy.

Tex ass has gone down hill since I left. They used to know how to deal with scumbags. Im guessing its mostly the cities with Austin as the epicenter.

This really raises a worse question (like that's possible) like why was this guy free in the first place- even if you buy his early parole...

But this guy had a report ( warrant?) from January to his PO consisting of weapons possession by a felon and threatening.

Why was he not locked up a long time ago?

    Or did I miss something?

You may have missed the part where a bunch of commies won judge seats in TX last election cycle.

This is exactly the type of thing they want to happen.

yep all this gun control bs, and yet when they catch a violent criminal (incl gun charges), it's just catch and release.
