Anyone ever re barrel an M1A? Do you know where I could get a pictorial guide? I want to attempt to do it myself.. Also what tools would I need? Such as action wrench, barrel vise, ect:

Thanks..

Re: Ever re barrel an M1A?

There is a hefty investment in tools to do just one rifle, action wrench, barrel vise, chamber reamer...that's like 5 bills in hand tools assuming you already have a lathe...if not, add an extra 20k for the lathe... but if you own an M1-A you might hunt down a copy of Kuhnhausen's book...30 cal Service Rifles.
