I've been in the market for a while now researching and about many of the current technologies manufacturers are offering on current variable power riflescopes. After narrowing down most of the features I found to be important: (x-turret feature, x-eye box and and relief, x-amount of elevavation travel, proper tracking, matching reticle turret increments etc... I was left torn between the debate between having to choose first focal plane and second. I am fairly versed now of the differences between the two. What intrigued me is the idea of dual plane optics. I'm aware that USO has entered this territory using a red dot of the sfp as I understand it. I would like to know if any of you have any experience with an optic of this nature or have any ideas for a good concept. I had a couple ideas (such as a thin crosshair + dot sfp and moa hash grid on ffp)and thought this could spark an interesting discussion. I apologize for the length of the post, i'm a new member and in part just wanted to introduce myself.
