I just picked one up for $1250 new in 6.5x284. First impressions is it is a bargain at that price for even $1500. Nice trigger, nice stock that is glass bedded, cerakote on all metal and it feeds flawlessly. I have never had a rifle feed this good. You can't even tell you have picked up another round. The twist rate is 1 in 9 but mine has been shooting 140 vld's under 1 moa at 100 and 200 yards (hopefully get it out a little further soon).
If I could have what I wanted I would have chosen an 8" twist and a mag contour barrel at 26" but I will just wait until it is time for a rebarrel.
I will be getting another in 280 AI and perhaps a 22-250 as I like the rifle that much.
Alot of guys complain about the "chubby" stock but I have large hands and it fits me great.
I started with H4831SC but didn't get the accuracy I wanted at the speed I wanted so I tried some H4350 and it tightened it up at 2930 fps which is great out of 24" barrel. So I believe the shorter barrel wasn't burning all the H4831SC since I had to use so much of it to obtain the velocity I wanted (55.2 grains)
Good luck if you get one I think you will be happy.
