Extra dumb question about Harris Bi Pod

Going to be shooting in Local gun clubs long range steel shooting matches. Most of the shooting will be in the prone the rest off a bench . I'll be buying a 6"-9" Harris bi pod . Which one "Solid Base" or "Swivel" ? Reading the reviews ,1 person who claimed to be both former Marine scout/sniper and a Oakland Raiders fan said "He wouldn't buy the "Swivel " version ?

Agreed on the swivel with the lock lever. I got the Pod Loc branded lever, but they are all the same. Also the notched leg version is a must. I would suggest putting a level on your rifle somewhere as well, since thats what the swivel helps correct.

Harris HBRMS, also listed as the S-BRM or BRM-S, depending on where you see it.

Swivel with notched legs. This gives you the ability to overcome really uneven ground and still keep your gun level.

Be sure to get the notched legs. The other legs with the tension knobs are crap.

Notched legs for sure. I say get the swivel but if you are only bench shooting it might never matter to you.
