FAB Defense Spike Bipod

Got it today and the thing is nice. The pan feature has a spring back to zero(front) and you can lock both pan and tilt. It locks up tight too. Can’t wait to get it out to the range and I will give a better review. It will be a day or two.

I liked it more than the magpul. I ended up returning it because sling stud mount on my rifle was not stable even with the accu-shot rail adapter.

its a decent bipod if you catch it on sale. 45 degree forward is nice for the price. Its got a "magpul + metal" feel to it that makes it feel a lot less flimsy than magpul's mostly polymer build

So far better than Magpul just wish someone would make spike feet. Locks up tight and yet you can move it if need be. Down side you have to push the button to move the legs like on the Atlas. Very steady just takes a little getting use to.

I bought an Atlas since. obviously price is aimed at a different customer, and I've never tried a Harris, but after using an Atlas, a Magpul, and the FAB Defense, I dont think I'd buy a FAB defense, I'd probably just shoot sandbags and save up for the atlas instead.
Interesting take on it, thanks. Would you buy the Magpul again as an intermittent bipod? Or skip it as wel ?

If you really need one, I'd take the FAB defense over the magpul, as an intermittent option. However..if you plan on selling it after.. magpul will probably sell quicker on the second hand market. Most people seem to be unfamiliar with FAB defense and some of their stuff (between packaging and design) reminds of the old goofy polymer AK furniture that hit the market back when you could still find WASRs for $300
