Rifle Scopes Falcon x56mm with Burris XTR Rings on 20MOA Weaver Base

I did the math and it looks as though with this combo, I'm going to need the medium rings (.5" to bottom of scope tube). Can someone verify that this is correct? It'll be going on a rem700 with the varmint contoured barrel. I'm probably gonna buy my scope, base, and rings all today, but my only other option would be to buy the scope and base, and then measure and buy the rings later. Which would you all do, or which set of rings can you confirm that I need?

This can be disregarded and/or deleted if need be....I decided to do it right and order my scope and base from SWFA and measure it once they get here to find exactly how high I need my rings to be, especially because I may change my mind and go with some signature zee rings or something of the like and don't just want to jump into anything just to rush it.
