Fan on Can! Rechargeable mini fan for scope mirage

I keep this rechargeable mini fan in my truck for camping in the summer.

Recently I used it to blast away the mirage from my suppressor while shooting from a bench. Works really well and keeps the target clear when sighting in or testing hand loads. Just figured I share with everyone.

Just keep your kestrel or windmate away from it. I just feel like this disclaimer needs to be put out due to the intelligence level of some people that have access to firearms

Me too A wet rag also works great too

Edit: Just to wipe it down, I don't like to put things on the barrel and leave it as it could change harmonics, etc.

Good to know. I have an Armageddon Gear suppressor cover that works well too, but ultimately no matter what I cover the can with it still makes mirage. The can fan is the best for extended bench shooting sessions. Night and day difference. makes for comfy truck camping too.
